TGIF!

Hasn’t this week felt incredibly weird with the holiday? I’m saying this and I don’t even have a normal work/life balance anyway- but I still feel totally thrown off.

Well, friends. Apparently, today is Friday which means it’s an all new episode of Friday Favs. This is a new thing on my blog where I’m sharing my favorite products of the week and a mini review! This week has definitely been full of progress- I had three different meetings yesterday and all of them were super exciting and successful- fingers crossed- I will share more when I can 😉

I also have a friend in town from Chicago so I’m hoping to be able to take her around this weekend in the midst of my crazy weekend schedules. I usually work during the weekends, but luckily this weekend only consists a meeting, an audition and filming a bidchat show…which is surprisingly a lighter load.

This week my favs consists of a leave in conditioner, my current lip combo, blush, eyelash curler, and eyebrow regime!

1. Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Leave-In Conditioner

Have I been living under a rock or something? I insta-storied (is that a word now) a package coming in from their hair-care brand and it was the first time I heard about the brand. I got at least 10 messages saying “I love that stuff” and I was like “wait, you know about them?” Like, where have I been? Normally I’m the wiz on hair care/ beauty products- sheesh….I need to up my game! I was also shocked to see how reasonably priced this was after testing it out. I would have thought it was a pricer product, so double win for them! Anyway- yes this product was sent to me but it’s not sponsored in anyway. I let companies know that if they want to send me products to try, I will only mention them if I genuinely like the product. There have been tons of things that I’ve tried and never mentioned because it was just ‘meh’ but this is totally not one of them!

The first thing I noticed about this leave-in conditioner is the smell. It legit smells like an orange dreamsicle which is pretty amazing to have your hair smelling like dessert! It’s also a hydration repair leave-in which is perfect for me since my hair is VERY dry, especially since moving to California. I was looking back on photos from when I first moved and I’ve lost at least 1/4th of my hair due to fall out from the dry air. I’m hoping this and the hair mask will do some wonders. So far so good- but I’ll keep testing them out in the next few weeks + keep you all updated!

2. Shiseido Eyelash Curler

Hands down the best eyelash curler I have ever used. You may be asking- do I need to spend $20 dollars on an eyelash curler? I asked myself the same thing, but I totally think this is worth it if you curl them most of the time. I like to justify my spending with how many times I use the product so if it’s something you use all the time then I say yes- if it’s not then find one that’s a little cheaper 🙂

3. Becca Mineralized Blush in Wild honey

If I had to get rid of every blush I own and keep one- it would be this. It works with every single skin tone whether you are super fair or super dark. The thing I love most about it is that it’s a neutral color. I don’t like my blush to be really noticeable, just something that blends in nicely with bronzer and brightens up the skin- so this one is perfect if you prefer that too!

4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and #12 brush

This is my usual brow routine- and when it comes to browns ABH kills the game. I personally don’t see the need in getting other brow products because this will last you anywhere from 6 months-1 year. I like their pencils and brow definer too for quick touch ups incase I’m just going to something casual- but if I have work, meeting, audition… basically anything important, I use the pomade because it’s just so good. All you have to do is lightly dip the brush in the pomade (use a light hand) and outline your brows lightly and walla! You’re good for the day 🙂

5. HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Trendsetter AND Buxom Full On Lip Cream in White Russian

This has been my favorite lip combo for the past few weeks. I love wearing a liquid lip because I dont have to worry about it getting gross throughout the day or coming off if I’m going to a dinner or meeting, plus the color goes with everything and the formula is not drying! I usually never like lip gloss but this one is totally different. If you haven’t tried buxom lip cream’s they are amazing- they give your lips a tingly feeling and they are so refreshing. I’m starting to like the added shine instead of just matte lips now! White Russian goes so well on top of everything- I wish I could have one in every color!
